Ladies this one is for you! We’re going to have a DIVA area on the beach where the ladies can meet, chat and chill. We want to encourage and promote ladies in SUP and windsurfing, so this is the opportunity to meet fellow like-minded ladies. It doesn’t matter if you’re beginner, wanna-be beginner, intermediate or even a pro, on your own, or in a group, 9 or 109 – meet up with other awesome ladies at the NWF Diva space.
Danielle Lucas from Getwindsurfing will be on hand for our NWF Divas over the festival. Danielle will be delivering clinics and running the freestyle alongside Getwindsurfing partner, Phil Richards, but has assured us that she will be there as much as she can when not with her students.
Zara Davis, 2016 ISWC World Speed Champion and Women’s World Production Record Holder for 500m at 45.83 knots, will be at NWF Friday and Sunday and is very happy to encourage and
help with kit etc. Zara’s website
Cal Major is very keen to support the SUP Divas in all elements of paddling. Cal will be a super interesting lady to chat to as she has just paddled 260 miles around the entire Cornish coast to raise awareness about the amount of plastic on our beaches and in the water.
In conjunction with Surfers Against Sewage (SAS), Cal pledged to SUP 260 miles in return for a challenge to the public to do a summer without buying plastic, instead using refillable alternatives. WELL DONE CAL!
