BSA Turbo 15

After the great success of last year. We will yet again will be conducting the BSA Turbo 15 at this years NWF whereby children under the age of 16 will be able to compete in their own series during the weekend and given the opportunity to join up with the pro’s for a spot of night windsurf action.

The Heathrow Jets

The Heathrow Jets will once more be entertaining us on Sat 3rd Sept after the night windsurfing/sup competition. They are an excellent  indie, covers band and was so well received last year it would be rude not to invite them along again. The party is a hawaiian  themes evening all sponsored by Spartan Wetsuits. Tickets are limited to 1000 and they go on sale as of 1st June. So book early to avoid disappointment.  1 x entry is free with competitors entry fee.

The NWF Clinics will be conducted by Peter Hart, Jim Collis, Ant Baker, Simon Bornhoft, Jem Hall and Sam Ross. Now thats what you call a line up!

Wind Supping and Longboard incorporated at this years NWF

Wind supping and longboard categories will be included in this years coming NWF. Which ensures all categories of sailor included as many think its just a short board event. Uniquely  format designed round the free-ride sailor.

Whilst we attempt to deliver most disciplines for all abilities at the NWF. We never forget our core business is supporting and delivering an awesome festival all around the free-ride sailor. So if you can sail in a straight line gybe or swim round a mark then this event is for you.

Press Release National Windsurfing Festival (NWF) 3-4 Sept 2011

The biggest windsurfing event in the country The National Windsurfing Festival (NWF) comes home to the shores of Haying Island once more on 3-4 Sept 2011 with a slight twist, as we will also be conducting a National SUP Festival (NSUPF) along side the event. We are also pleased to announce the event sponsors Havant Borough Council and Spartan wetsuits who will sponsor the Night Windsurf/Sup competition and the now legendary NWF VIP Hawaiian themed party.  We will also witness the return of The Heathrow Jets playing the night away. The simple master blaster format encouraging all abilities so popular with the free-ride community will witness a maximum of 350 competitors sponsored by the Windsurfing industry.  With the UK’s best windsurfing guru’s on hand conducting clinics throughout the weekend. Online entry starts 1 June 2011 with the first 250 competitors securing their festival rash vests and no price increase.  The NWF hosts the largest windsurfing trade show with their new 2012 collection. This is the one event which witnesses the whole windsurfing industry coming together in support of our NWF free-ride community to ensure you have an festival to remember. Tuff Economic Times

In these tuff economic times we are doing everything possible to consume the extra expenditure regarding the execution of this years NWF.  In order to ensure we can offer excellent value for money to the mass free-ride community.  So we have decided that there will be no extra increase to the entry fee or party tickets.
