NWF 2017 online camping tickets will be available from 5th April.
The NWF festival site at Rutlan Water Sykes Lane, LE15 8PX will be OPEN FROM 0800HRS on Friday 2nd June for campers and participants to arrive and set up.
On arrival, please have your printed ticket confirmation on hand to show our stewards. This will allow us to direct you to the relevant camping area and your festival experience can get started quickly!
If you have not bought your tickets online, our stewards will direct you to the registration tent where you can purchase your camping, party and festival tickets. Obviously this can be quite busy, so it’s definitely recommended to book online before Tuesday 30th May.
Rutland Water have our participant’s safety at heart and therefore, we have to adhere to strict fire safety guidelines regarding camping plots and the minimum distances between vehicles. Please support the NWF team by following the directions of our site stewards on your arrival.
Once parked up, please head to the registration tent where your camping wristbands will be issued. These provide access on & off the camping area and will subsequently be monitored throughout the weekend.
All participants who have booked a Sup or Windsurfing Festival Experience Ticket have full use of the parking/camping facilities as part of their entry fee. Your entry entitles you to a camping plot for 1 person.
Non On-Water Participant Camping Permit
If you have not entered as an on-water participant, but wish to camp on site, you will be required to purchase a camping ticket for £70 which includes 3 days camping on a plot for 1 person and your party ticket gaining access to both Fri & Sat night parties.
Additional persons sleeping on an allocated plot under 16 yrs are free. Over 16 yrs are charged £10 per person site admin fee for the duration, which covers: marshalling, cleaning, security, barriers, portable toilets, fire appliances, first aid. Additional party tickets are charged at £37.50 per person , which entitles access to both Fri & Sat night parties., or £20 on the door per night.
Onsite facilities are limited! There is a public toilet block, water point and shower block with limited showers. In addition, there are mobile toilets for the event. Shower tokens are available at registration.
There are various options for food and refreshments on site, rutland water beach, Bugtopia zoo, Childresn play area, mini golf and in the near vacinity they have a aqua park, climbing wall, nature reserve, cycle hire and various routes and cafe’s.
There is a designated family area for those who wish to be in a quieter location, and that option is available when you arrive on site.
Please familiarise yourself with the fire safety points around the site which are there in case of emergency – BUT PLEASE DO NOT TAMPER WITH THE EQUIPMENT – it is there for your safety!
Dogs are allowed on site – no problem. They just have to be kept under control, on a lead and are not allowed in the water. There is an “off the lead” dog walking area at Sykes Lane though.
